About

Hi, I’m Sambhav Tawar

And to welcome to My Seborrheic Dermatitis.

I’ve been living with seborrheic dermatitis for around 10 years. What started as a few flakes on my scalp when I was in 5th grade eventually became something I had to learn to manage as part of my everyday life.

For years, I tried different approaches. I used oils, home remedies, shampoos, medicines, and treatments recommended by doctors. Some things helped temporarily, while others made my symptoms worse. I experienced times when my scalp looked completely clear, only for the redness, itching, and flakes to return after I stopped treatment.

Eventually, I realized that managing seborrheic dermatitis was going to be more about understanding my own triggers and finding a routine that I could consistently follow.

Why I Created This Website

I created My Seborrheic Dermatitis to document what I’ve learned from my own experience.

I spent a lot of time researching seborrheic dermatitis, reading about other people’s experiences, and trying to understand what was happening to my skin.

I found useful information scattered across doctors’ advice, research, online communities, and personal experiences. I also found plenty of confusing or conflicting information.

So I decided to put my own experience in one place.

Here, I want to share the things that have helped me manage my seborrheic dermatitis, the mistakes I’ve made, the products and routines I’ve tried, and the lifestyle changes that I personally found useful.

What You’ll Find Here

Here i will share:

  • My personal experience of living with seborrheic dermatitis
  • The routines I currently follow
  • Products and ingredients I have personally tried
  • Things that have helped me manage flare-ups
  • Hair and scalp care tips
  • My experiences with different home remedies
  • Diet and lifestyle changes I have experimented with
  • Research and information I find useful while managing the condition

I don’t want this website to simply tell you, “Use this product and your problem will disappear.”

Instead, I want to share what I have learned through years of dealing with seborrheic dermatitis so you can better understand the condition and make more informed decisions for yourself.

A Personal Resource, Not Medical Advice

I’m not a doctor or dermatologist. This website is based primarily on my personal experience and my own research.

The information I share should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you believe you have seborrheic dermatitis, especially if you haven’t been diagnosed, I recommend speaking with a qualified dermatologist before starting a new treatment or routine.

What works for me may not necessarily work for you.
